ANNOUNCEMENT

This house -- Lakes 9809 -- was purchased yesterday by PP Group of Helsinki, Finland. The purchase is still subject to some official approvals.

We are very happy to have found such an excellent house in so prominent a neighborhood!

During next 6 months we are going to accommodate here our Finnish guests who want to see the famous Silicon Valley and learn more about it. They are highly-educated people and you, our esteemed neighbors, can rest assured that this traffic will not cause you any harm. They all understand English, although we will be speaking Finnish among ourselves. After that period, the traffic here will settle down.

PP Group consists of several companies. An imaginary Finnish scientist-businessman, Timo Päästäinen, established the first company, Paastainen Publishing Company, about 30 years ago. It was soon followed by Paastainen Research Center that originally collaborated with the University of Helsinki. The newest subsidiary is PP Air that is about to start charter flights between Helsinki and San Francisco. The pilots have received their flight training in the San Francisco Bay Area with the Microsoft Flight Simulator.

PP Group is privately owned. It bills for its services mainly in Virtual Dollars (V$), but also in other virtual currencies worldwide. You may wonder why we settled here and not, for example, in the Wall Street area. That decision was influenced by the prominent role of the Research Center within the Group.
